Message from Abby Henry
Most parents want to have more meaningful connections with their children. The problem is there is constant yelling and fighting within your home which makes you feel frustrated and lost with how to help your child and feel that you have nothing left to give.
I’m Abby Henry and I want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. Many children experience big emotions with no way of communicating how they are feeling and many parents feel lost in what to do to help.
I believe every parent and child deserves to have a healthy and meaningful relationship. Therapy gives the relationship tools that will help you connect with your child now and for a lifetime.
I specialize in helping anxious and angry children and equip parents to better understand each other. I begin this process by meeting with parents to better understand the big picture and create goals.
Then, I create a treatment plan and begin the therapeutic process with the child, partnering with the parents throughout the process.
If you want the tools to de-escalate the big emotions, the fighting and the yelling in your home and instead work towards healing within your family, giving you the confidence to understand your child better and feel capable of helping them then give me a call and I can help.
Learning to Handle Anger is a Skill We Must Practice
Remember that your child is human just like you. Give yourself grace as you handle your child’s anger and help them navigate their emotions.
Cedar Tree's Mission:
There are a lot of broken families who struggle to do life well together.
That’s why we help families create an environment where deeper connection & healing can happen.
